Slurry pump bearing running temperature over height

Slurry pumps can be widely used in mines, power, metallurgy, coal, environmental protection and other industries.

The pumps are used to transport slurry containing abrasive solid particles. Such as metallurgical beneficiation plant slurry transportation, thermal power plant ash removal, coal washing plant coal slurry and heavy medium transportation, dredging rivers, river dredging and so on.

In the chemical industry, some corrosive slurries containing crystals can also be transported.

The slurry pump may have a running problem, over heating of bearing during use.

We will share the five major reasons for the heat problem of slurry pump bearings.

1 The cooling water is not turned on or the cooling water tank is blocked.
To solve this problem you just need get the cooling water turned on or the cooling water channel dredged.

2 Lubrication is not good.
The amount of lubricant should be adjusted according to the instructions.

3 The lubricating oil is not clean or there are impurities in the oil.
The bearings should be cleaned and replace the lubricating oil.

4 Thrust bearing direction is wrong.
Adjust the thrust bearing.

5 The hot air inside the bearing housing can not be discharged, so the temperature rises.
Clean the air outlet passage to make sure air can get out free.
